Post-Jesus Culture Awakening Testimonies

Testimonies of God’s goodness on return from Jesus Culture Awakening!

-Hieju:
My co-worker was having back pain.  He pulled it while moving furniture. I asked him if I could pray for it. He said ok.  I asked him what his pain level was from 1 to 10 (10 being the worst).  He said 7.  I prayed a short prayer (2 mins). The first thing he said to me after I prayed was that his back felt better.  He said it is now a 4.  Praise God for healing in the work place. :)

-Jessica:
I just shared the gospel with Larry my boss and prayed for him. Wow hahaha. God is amazing.

-Brock:

For those who don’t’ know I work at the Humane Society of the United States in the accounting department (which is a miracle in itself)

On Thursday after work I was talking to a co-worker. He mentioned that he was in the middle of changing cubicles, and what a hassle it was because his arm was bothering him. Apparently he had injured it last Christmas (2010), and it was never the same, being that at some point in the healing process the arm stopped recuperating. Now at first I feel like the Lord wants me to pray for this person, to which I’m thinking, “no way…I have to work with this guy!”. Of course, that prompting gets a little bit stronger and stronger. I remember a testimony at the Awakening Conference, where that man says “it’s worth 30 seconds of embarrassment to give Jesus a chance to be Jesus”. Now at this point I agree. So here I am at this point and I’m wondering “What do I do? What do I do?”. I’m freaking out a little bit. But the Lord tells me to ask if I can pray for this guy. So I do, and he agrees to allow me to pray for it. I manage to get my words together and as Jesus to be Jesus, to rebuke the pain, etc. Now I ask him to check it out and, to my surprise he says it feels better. He actually had some range of motion problems (couldn’t bend the arm all the way) and he was bending his arm, saying that it felt better!

Praise God!
